Hello :-)

I'm Sarah. I live with my son, Isaac, and our Border Terrier, Rinny, in our little house in the East Midlands of the UK. We try to live simply, not force things and take life as it comes.

We like having adventures together and I like to make stuff out of yarn, I crochet a mean amigurumi! I can knit, but if I'm honest I don't really like it. Crochet all the way! I embroider stuff too, although it tends to be gifts for friends. I do other crafty stuff sporadically too - freezer paper stencilling things onto clothes, free-hand fabric painting when the mood strikes, I've even been known to knock out fairy wings and paper birthday bunting.

This is not our first online home. I started writing a blog when I found out I was pregnant; it was the best way to deal with the rush of emotions, thoughts and experiences I had not encountered before and also a great way to share and record family business. It's still online, but a lot of the images went AWOL when my blog online photo album mysteriously split into two (has this happened to anyone else??)

Times change and I found need of a new online space to record our antics and makings. So here we are. I hope you'll stop by to say hi to us because we love meeting new people.
